Katie & Matt, an Orlando, Florida Wedding

We met Katie and Matt last year in Florida, when Katie was a bridesmaid at Tammy and Jeb’s wedding. Its such a big compliment to have a bridesmaid ask you to shoot her wedding. After they found out their original venue had been double booked (!) they switched their wedding to the Lake Mary Events Center, a super pretty space, and the same one that Tammy and Jeb’s wedding took place in last year. We were happily familiar with the venue as well as many of the other vendors, and we had a great time celebrating with Katie and Matt and their family and friends. Congrats Katie and Matt, and thank you for having us down to Florida!

P.S. many of their guests played along with Katie’s color palette, which always brings some unexpected symmetry to the party!

The Wedding Pink, 2012 Engagement

Roxanne and Joseph are this year’s recipient of The Wedding Pink presented by Cheryl Ungar Gives, and I was beyond honored when Cheryl asked me to take part in this year’s wedding. Cheryl and I met up with Roxanne and Joseph at one of their favorite Colorado haunts, Red Rocks Amphitheater, on a sunny mid winter day. I can’t wait to take part in photographing their wedding this May in Beaver Creek.

Rox and Joseph don’t take a minute for granted. Let them remind us that neither should we.

Gina & Ryan, Vail Engagement

Gina and Ryan are new Vail locals, they ended up moving here after they ventured through on a cross country road trip last year. They both secured jobs at ski school, they packed up their energetic mutt, and they moved. They are enjoying their first winter so much that they wanted to have their engagement photos taken in Vail, even though they will be getting married in their native Arizona later this year. Thanks Gina and Ryan for braving the chilly afternoon for some snowy photos!
