Generally speaking, we love shooting weddings. They are always a great time, and our couples put so much time and thought into the detail, it can’t help but be beautiful. That said, at the end of the year we’ve definitely seen a lot of Irish blessings, and Paul has gotten props for his letter to the Corinthians more than a few times. Alas, weddings up in Vail and around Boulder don’t always have a lot of cultural flair.
Melissa and Armando couldn’t have been more different. This amazing couple is of Mexican descent and their heritage came through in every aspect of their day. They had a supremely talented mariachi band, delicious comida de Mexico, and loads of traditions I hadn’t had the honor of shooting before.
Melissa is a hairstylist and her eye for the details totally came through. Hot pink highlights were the order of the day, and everything about her wedding popped!
Melissa’s dress was uniquely hers and totally beautiful.
These guys were fricking ridiculous. Who doesn’t like good Mariachi music?
Que delicioso.
I’d never shot a wedding march before, which makes me LOVE it.
Thanks so much to Melissa and Armando for letting me be a part of their day!
