Megan is good friends with Dave and Megan Basak, and after seeing us shoot their beautiful November wedding, she decided she wanted to work with us as well. We absolutely love referrals, and working with the friends of previous clients is a huge ego boost for any photographer. It usually means you are doing something right! Plus, Megan and Chad are going to have an incredible wedding, so we’re extra stoked!
Before their June ceremony, Megan and Chad wanted to do an engagement session where they met…on CU Boulder’s amazing campus. It seems like we are getting plenty of snow for our engagement sessions this year, so I am not at all surprised that we missed the week of 75 degree weather and had fat snowflakes for the session. Still, Megan and Chad had tons of fun and didn’t seem to mind the snow at all.

When snow is falling it can fool the autofocus, and you can get a cool soft-focus falling snow thing. I love this shot.
