Jenny and I recently flew to Chicago to meet with some clients and to shoot Laurie and Brendan’s engagement session before their August wedding. If you know Jenny and I or follow this blog, you know that we LOVE to travel, and that nothing makes us happier than getting to shoot in new places. I am originally from Chicago, but I’d never had the opportunity to shoot there before, so we were completely stoked to work with Laurie and Brendan for their engagement session.
We met the couple at their place and headed toward Wrigleyville for some fun shots down there. Laurie and Brendan have great taste, so naturally they’re Cubbies fans. We got a perfect day with a little cloud cover for that awesome light, and Laurie and Brendan were down for anything. After that we headed down to the shore to get some shots of the lake and the skyline. Lots of kissing and lots of great images in an awesome city. Thanks so much to Laurie and Brendan, we can’t wait until the big day!

The lake was amazing, and the light was very 6 AM, even though it was about noon.
