It is with an admitted certain apprehension that I approach the time in my life where it is completely normal for my close friends to be having children. For the most part, babies are an unknown to me. I find a scariness inherent in their fragility, their total dependence. That said, most of the babies I have been around have had the worldly experience of at least a couple weeks to toughen their pink skin. Not this time.
Annie Halloran joined a world very ready for her appearance on April 28th, 2008. Weighing in at a dainty 6 pounds 7 ounces. there is barely enough of her to fill her “vail baby” beenie. Even to eyes untrained in regard to babies (they all kind of look, you know, alike) she is…amazing. At only a day old, she is as beautiful as her mother (and loads better looking than her father). She is full of life.
Welcome to the world Annie Halloran! It’s a pretty amazing place and there are lots and lots of people here that love you already. I for one am honored to meet you.
