Aja and Ashkon met in Boulder as undergrads, and we started out on CU’s campus for some of their engagement photos. They are young and stylish and in love and wonderful to shoot. Beautiful, summery, only in Colorado golden light followed us the whole night. That, along with their willingness to showcase places they have loved throughout their relationship, made for a very fun evening.
By the way, for you ladies reading, I’m obsessed with Aja’s engagement ring. She felt very strongly about not having a diamond, and Ashkon got her the stunner she’s sporting in these photos instead. Very styley meets very conscious….I love it.
